A beggar can be happy, but not a miser

Begging is a common sight in many parts of Bengaluru, as it is in many cities and towns in India. Beggars can be found on the streets, at traffic signals, and in busy public places such as markets and bus stations. But nowadays the scenario for the beggars has been changed not only in Bengaluru but in all over India. However many of them are capable of making money because they all are physically fit and are able walk and run. Although, there is a lot of reasons for begging in Bengaluru and other parts of India are many and varied. Some people beg due to poverty, lack of education or job opportunities, disability or illness, or as a result of social discrimination. Others may be forced into begging by organized criminal groups or by family members who exploit them for money. Although, Poverty is a socio-economic condition characterized by a lack of access to resources and opportunities, including basic needs such as food, water, shelter, healthcare, education, and employment.
When i went there and interviewed the manager of nearby restaurant which comes under MNCs catergories. I went and asked what would be the per day income of thiers. He told that they were not working for only income purposes as they were working for the food which they usually get from the customers who were going out from Mc Donald’s and KFC. They used to ask about the food and money, few of the were ready to give and they did so.
Although including this, he also objected that if he started giving the education to the child who was selling the roses, he would went to the school but at the evening he would sell the roses as they are dedicated to their works and also they are dependent on their parent’s mentality.
The issue of begging in Bengaluru has long been a topic of debate and concern, with many organizations and individuals working to address the root causes of poverty and social inequality that drive people to beg. There are several NGOs and government initiatives that offer rehabilitation and vocational training to help beggars get off the streets and become self-sufficient.

However, despite these efforts, the problem of begging persists in Bengaluru and other cities in India. It is a complex issue that requires sustained efforts from all sections of society to address.
